Welcome to the Los Angeles Eating Disorder Collective

The Los Angeles Eating Disorder Collective (LAEDC) is a community-driven organization committed to fostering inclusivity and accessibility in the field of eating disorder awareness and care. Through a social justice lens, we challenge the status quo and prioritize intersectional approaches to education for both clinicians and the broader community.

What Does LAEDC Do?

We create space for connection, collaboration, and education through monthly meetups and larger community events. Our goal is to make eating disorders and weight stigma education accessible to both specialists and professionals in adjacent fields, because a more informed world is a safer one for people in recovery.

A Growing Community

We're building a network of eating disorder professionals committed to learning from one another, growing together, and expanding access to care. We believe that when more professionals understand eating disorders, weight stigma, and social determinants of health, the world becomes safer for people in recovery. We hope you will join us.
